My roommate is moving out so I will have a room available starting April 1st. I live in lakeview (Diversey and Sheridan) and rent is $750 a month. Rent includes everything except electricity (which is usually $30 a month).

MISSIO ARTS ZINE LAUNCH MEETING!

What is up all of you wonderful people? You may have heard about this, you may not, but here's some info if you're interested, cause it's awesome.

We're making a zine! It will serve as an outlet for artists and writers from our church family in the interest of finding an audience, and serving God. Through publishing work in an honest, unpretentious, lo-fi, DIY format, we will be free to give praise to God in the format(s) we artists and writers are naturally born to give praise with.

Anybody and everybody is welcome.
Writers of words, artists of all sorts, makers of things, organizers of stuff, appreciators of creativity.
Come one, come all!

This is a general meeting.

Interested in submitting work?

Interested in helping us put the zine together?

Interested in designing the layout?

Interested in finding out what the heck we're talking about?
Just plain interested?

Ideas will be shared, encouraged, and nourished, and a project will begin.

If youre an engaged couple, this is a pivotal time in your lives. The thing is, you can spend so much time focusing on the big day that you miss preparing for every day after that.

We're offering a 6-session workshop (spread out over 2+ months), where youll not only take a look at what GOD has to say about how to cultivate a lasting relationship, but youll also get straight talk about what its really like - rather than the idyllic misconceptions our culture, families and peers have passed on to us.

Specifically, well look at:

- GODs design for marriage & your purpose within it

- Men and womens unique roles & how they work together

- The part that GOD plays in a successful relationship

- What love is and what it isnt

- How conflict can actually grow you together

- The realities of sex & money

The workshop is due to begin mid-March, depending on roster size.

All,

MissioDei Chicago has an opportunity for its members and attendees to serve this Saturday, February 28th. The time is TBD. We are asking for a couple hours out of your day to spread the love of GOD in the community through distributing door hangers.

MDC has printed up 1,000 door hangers for the Wrigleyville and Wicker Park neighborhoods. As you know, this Sunday is "invite Sunday" and it would be great to fill the Brixen Ivy Community Center this Sunday with new faces from the neighborhood. The hangers are similar to the "You Are Loved" cards an have information about MDC.

We are all busy people, so all we are asking for is a couple hours. Email me at davisjo2@yahoo.com if you can help.

i live in a sweet two bedroom at hermitage and waveland... front porch, backyard (small but bbq-worthy!), laundry in the basement and cute vintage details. my roommate is leaving when the lease expires at the end of march, but i would love to stay. the apartment is convenient to public transportation (brown line, addison, ashland, lincoln, and damen buses) and entertainment, but still situated in a quiet neighborhood. i'm a friendly 33-year old who tries to keep a clean apartment and is respectful of your stuff and space. two cats come with the package - not the most well-behaved, i confess, but very friendly and social. your share of the rent would be $505 plus an equal share of the utilities. drop me a line if you'd like to talk.

I realize it's still early, but I'm looking for housing this summer (May 12ish -mid August). I am a student at Purdue and have a internship lined up in the downtown area. I lived in Chicago last summer and attended MissioDei Wicker Park.

I am pretty new to Chicago I moved in June. I have attended services at Missio Dei a couple of times but I am looking to join a small bible study group/women's group. I am feeling pretty disconnected from God and could use some help getting re-connected. I am 23 and would love to do any type of bible study or any community service. Hello community,

I am reaching out to see if there is anyone in the community: a family, couple, single woman- who may have a room or space to rent for myself to live. I am recently having to look at a creative way to live, as my graduate student loans seem to be consuming my income. I am at peace that God is in control and I am blessed at how He has provided: spiritually, financially, and with friendships.

I am also open to the possibility of a couple moving in with me or someone who would like to rent the other room until Sept. 30th (my roommate & I are subleasing)

Apartment for (Sub) Lease

Hello everyone -

I'm looking to sublease my apartment starting February 1st; the lease would end October 31st in which you would be able to commit to another year lease if wanted. I am moving out after living here for a year and a half. It is a great apartment but I am moving with friends closer to my work-place. Apartment is located near Armitage Church on Kedzie just north of Fullerton. It is in a great neighborhood with easy street parking, one block from the Logan Square Blue Line Stop and Bus stop. The apartment includes: 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1400 square feet (huge!), back/porch storage area, kitchen, dining room, study (or fancy dining area/play area) and a living room, on the 3rd floor walk-up and great landlords!
